I talked to Trez at the Snake Show about upholstery people and he directed me to his Guy.  So this Saturday (8-27-11) I went by and talked to him.  And he was the nicest guy in the world!  His shop is a dump... I have been looking at my bedroom and I have noticed it was kinda packed with furniture. 

• 2 nightstands
• 10 drawer  - dresser
• 5 drawer  - tall dresser
• a cedar chest  - (I have already moved it out)
• large corner armoir

I finished 2 out of the 3 transition pieces.  the one to the back guest room looks great.  The other... not so good.  But in my defense, unless I got a little carpet guy in there to stretch the carpet - (it isn't worth the money - it won't ever look that good ( Read more... )

Here is a picture of my new lamp.  It is pretty solid.  It felt like I was carrying 2 air tanks up the stairs when I got home.  They look pretty good.  It's funny, I haven't had side table lights in my bedroom in forever.  As long as I have lived here in georgia I haven't had a headboard either.  I have an idea for that too.  Hence the search for a ( Read more... )
